Buddhist Leadership and Socio-Economic Development

After graduating with a Master degree in Sociology from the University Marc Bloch of Strasbourg, her research was during three years about the study of the special situation of Alsace-Moselle (one region of France) which is till now governed with a political local system dating from 1801 and the religious contribution in the Alsace and Moselle area's society compared with the situation of the other parts of France. She is working since 2006 in the Solidarity and Health Office of the city council of Strasbourg.

She is a member of EBU, the European Buddhist Union, since 2009, and shares the responsibility of the commission "Buddhism and Society" since 2010. Civil society, associations and the Council of Europe ask contributions in various and complex subjects concerning the European societies and advice on religious subjects or problems. She is the General Secretary of Sakya Tsechen Ling, the European Institute of Tibetan Buddhism, (Strasbourg/Kuttolsheim, France) since 1989, Buddhist teacher and translates texts into French.She was involved in the organisation of many important events such as the coming of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1988 and others international events which gather more than 20 nationalities. She is also in the executive committee of Sakyadhita France since 2006. Sakyadhita seeks to unite Buddhist women of diverse countries and traditions, to promote their welfare and to facilitate their work for the benefit of humanity. Their members cooperate to help women to develop their potential as scholars, practitioners, teachers, community organizers, and compassionate social activities. She is involved in the activities of CBA, the Buddhist Community of Alsace, France, since 2011, which gathers Laotian, Tibetan, Japanese and Vietnamese Buddhist traditions.
